Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, is on the road to recovery after recently suffering a severe stroke.
She took to Instagram to share a positive health update with her friends and fans, expressing gratitude for the support she has received during this challenging time.
“I truly appreciate all the love and support fr,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “Again, I’m human, and I go through sh*t like everybody else, which is why I’m so open about my life because I know I feel alone but we are never alone, someone is always going through damn near the same. Still here hoping to be home soon.”
Broadus continued to provide insights into her recovery journey, uploading two more pictures from the hospital to her Instagram Story, accompanied by a thumbs-up gesture. “God is working overtime, you hear me! My kidneys were doing terrible,” she added. “Doctors came in this AM and said they are improving so much.”
The revelation of the severe stroke came on Thursday, January 18, when Cori shared two photos from the hospital, expressing the emotional impact of her sudden medical condition. “I had a severe stroke this am,” she typed in the first slide. “I started breaking down crying when they told me… I’m only 24. What did I do in my past to deserve all of this?”
Cori Broadus has faced health challenges since being diagnosed with lupus at the age of six. Lupus, an autoimmune disease, causes the body’s immune system to attack its own tissues and organs, leading to inflammation and impacting various organs such as joints, blood cells, lungs, heart, and more. Lupus Corner highlights that lupus patients face an increased risk of stroke due to inflammation affecting blood clot tendencies and vasculitis stiffening blood vessels.
Despite the lack of details regarding the cause of her stroke or the specifics of her recovery, Cori’s health journey has been marked by resilience.
