Fans were able to relish in his extensive catalog this past summer at Brown’s Breezy Bowl XX Stadium World Tour. The tour sold out arenas nationwide and made waves with its meet-and-greet photos, which fans paid upwards of $1,200 for.
According to Billboard, Breezy Bowl XX grossed $295.5 million and sold 1.983 million tickets over its 49 shows. It is now Brown’s highest-grossing tour of his career.
The boatload of plaques on the way comes after Chris Brown picked up his third diamond plaque earlier this year for “Look at Me Now” featuring Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes.
In addition to the awards, Breezy recently received praise from Monica for his artistry. In conversation with Billboard, Monica told the outlet that Brown is one of the greatest entertainers
“I feel like he is the greatest entertainer that is left here on earth with us,” Monica continued. “There were many before him. He is just one of one. Just the sound of his voice or his harmonies or anything just instantly makes sh– better. I don’t give a damn whose song it is, he makes it better.”
She added, “He knows that my love for him is not wavering or fleeting. Chris knows that I absolutely support him, good, bad or indifferent, no matter what.”
