Meet Lesley Ware: The Author & Fashionista Who Wears Many Hats [VIDEO]

Ware recently sat down with The Creator’s Life to talk about all things fashion, her newest book, How to Be a Fashion Designer, and what she has learned on her journey.

 

Ware revealed that the creative process for writing her third publication was a little more stressful, compared to completing her other two books.

“We wrote it over the summer which was extremely intense because I was working full time at Parsons and also working at the Met, and writing this book and going through a breakup, so it was the most busy and sad summer of my life, but I survived it”, she explained. The budding fashion designer, also said she wouldn’t have made it through this rough patch without help.

Ware credits her “creative tribe” for having her back. Watch, as she emphasizes why supporting one another, is “essential to getting to the next level,” and that when “one of us comes up” we all win.
