Rapper and producer T-Pain has teamed up with Crocs to bring to life the iconic lyric “boots with the fur” in a bold new footwear collection. The limited-edition line centers on a towering knee-high boot and a capsule of fur-trimmed styles, merging Crocs’ comfort ethos with high fashion flair.
Croctober Spotlight: The “Unfurgettable” Boot
The anchor piece, dubbed the Classic Unfurgettable Leopard Knee High Boot, stretches to 35.4 inches, making it the tallest silhouette Crocs has ever produced. Wrapped in plush vegan leopard-print faux fur, the boot features 17 Jibbitz charms, chains, a backstrap, a metal rivet loop and multiple personalization points.
“The boot embodies self-expression in every detail,” Crocs said in its press release, celebrating the fan-driven influence behind the design. Crocs’ Chief Marketing Officer Carly Gomez added, “Croctober is our love letter to the fans. They’ve always been the heartbeat of our brand.”
The boots are set to drop on Oct. 23, a date Crocs dubs “Crocs Day.” In addition to the flagship boot, the collection will include a series of faux fur-trimmed footwear blending dramatic aesthetics with wearable design.
Nostalgia Meets Innovation
T-Pain’s participation anchors the collection in pop culture memory. The lyric “boots with the fur” originates in Flo Rida’s 2008 hit “Low,” in which T-Pain contributed his signature vocals. With this project, T-Pain revisits that moment in a tangible, fashion-forward way.
SneakerNews describes the boot as extending the platform sole of the classic clog upward, with the strap repurposed as ornamentation rather than functionality. Hypebeast emphasizes the experimental aesthetic and design risk, noting the blend of comfort and boldness.
SneakerNews also reported the boot’s price point: $160, available in women’s sizing upon release.
T-Pain’s latest fashion venture follows a moment earlier in 2025 when he poked fun at speculation about his finances. He posted a video from a yacht, captioning it, “I guess I’m broke. Anyways here’s the yacht I’m staying on.” The video, filled with luxury imagery, served as a tongue-in-cheek rebuttal.
With the “Boots with the Fur” collection, T-Pain transitions from playful social media barbs to a full-fledged design collaboration. As Crocs leans into maximalism and fan co-creation, the partnership marks one of the brand’s most daring wearables.
The collection launches Oct. 23 globally via Crocs’ online platform and select stores, including its SoHo location in New York City.
